iPEARL (Intracellular Parasite Education and Research Labs) is a state-of-the-art bioscience facility and international research, training, and education group at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. It was founded by Prof. Nishith Gupta with the generous support of Wellcome Trust, the  Department of Biotechnology (India), and BITS-Pilani.​

Majorly focusing on clinically relevant and globally prevalent parasitic protists (Toxoplasma, Plasmodium, Eimeria), iPEARL's cutting-edge facilities and international team under the mentorship of Prof. Nishith Gupta drive high-quality research on intracellular pathogens and host cells. iPEARL is also proactively engaged in a multitude of academic activities including public outreach, education, training, and promotion of early-career scholars, and internationalization of research in India.
